May is almost half over- yikes- where have the days gone?!?!

First, we want to THANK everyone that came to visit us during the All Texas Shop Hop! Our official count is that 1,309 Hoppers that made it to our Studio during the two months. Oh my! The All Texas Shop Hop organizers were just a bit amazed (as were we) on the state-wide response. If you didn't participate this year, think about doing it next year....even if you just do one region or your local shops. It's all about supporting the fabric industry and small businesses, and taking home some great fabric and ideas. If you mailed in your All Texas Shop Hop passport you will be receiving an email with a survey. Please take the time to share your thoughts.

Here's what's new at the Textile Studio:

I know that summer hasn't even officially arrived, but Halloween and Christmas fabric has begun to arrive! The Hallow's Eve panel and fabrics by Northcott have already been selling well. All can be found under the Holiday  tab on our website.

The Butterfly Fields Block-by-Block Quilt kits by Sew Kind of Wonderful are here. Beginning in June, the designers will have weekly YouTube videas to help you. We will have our own monthly "support group" to help you make your way through the kit.

Tilda Fabric- YES! We will be carrying the Tilda fabrics as of June. If your'e unfamiliar with Tilda, here's how the  Tilda's World website describes the line: "Tilda is a fabric brand founded by Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger in 1999, best known for whimsical naive characters and charming fabric design. There is a certain attitude to life in Tilda’s world, whimsical and romantic, like a ball gown worn with wellies – perfectly imperfect!" The Creating Memories collection is due to arrive early June, and once we know the release date we can share that. Stores that carry Tilda fabric are required to release each new line on exactly the same day. If you're a Tilda fan, stay tuned!

Our May Villa Rosa Table Runner of the month kit is Berry-Licious and is available now. The table runner finishes at 15" x 50". If you're new to our Table Runners of the month, we still have a limited number of January (Smitten) and February (Carousel) kits left. For June we will have a patriotic themed table runner called Firecracker.

BOMs- we've been asked if we are doing any more BOMs, and the answer is yes! Symphony is ready to go now, and can be purchased as the full kit, or as a block of the month. There are two colorways- Brights and Neutrals. Details can be found onour website. Symphony uses Banyan Batiks fabrics. The next BOM we will be releasing soon is Snippets. Snippets is described as an advanced beginner 6 month BOM and features bright fabrics from the Snippits collection by Studio e.
