Merry Christmas and Looking Ahead to 2023

As we close out 2022, we are looking forward to 2023. Here are just a few events that we have planned:
Paper Piecing All Year Round- A BOM
Using the book "Paper Piecing All Year Round" participants can join at any point in 2023 simply by purchasing the book. The book provides patterns for two different monthly-themed 8" blocks, and also provides several patterns on how to use the blocks. For $6/month, participants can receive copies of the monthly patterns on paper piecing weight paper and a FQ of their choice. Intro to Paper Piecing workshops are already scheduled for anyone that is new to the paper piecing technique, or just wants a refresher. The book is available for purchase in the Studio now, and then in January it will be available online.
Blue Skies BOM
Beginning late spring or early summer "Blue Skies" will be a 9 month BOM for those that love blue fabric. Three fabric collections have been selected and participants will be able to select from one of the collections. Once the fabric arrives, we will share more information.
Bench Pillow of the Month
Riley Blake has created kits for monthly themed bench pillow covers. A limited number will be available, with the first kits (for the April themed pillow) scheduled to arrive in January!
Big Block BOM for Beginning Quilters
Using QT's "Color Dance" pattern and fabrics, a monthly workshop for beginning quilters will begin in February. Beginner quilters will learn not only the quilting basics such as how to use of a rotary cutter, correct measuring and piecing, but also basic quilt blocks in large sizes. This BOM will be limited to 6 participants.

New workshops: Fabric Baskets, Fabric Cards, and Quilted Coats
Oldie but Goodie Workshops: Texas Star, Braided Twist Table Runner, Blue Onion
No Sewing Required Workshops: Barn Block Painting, Laura Heine Applique
Open Quilt Retreat Weekends
Bring your sewing supplies and projects and come to an "open" quilt retreat at the Uptown Blanco Retreat House. A great way to meet others while "getting away". Details will be available soon.
