I took classes and tried turned applique without success. This is the method I learned that made me successful, with smooth shapes that aren't puckered or distorted. Fabric kit will be provided to make a pretty Christmas applique block that can be included in a bigger project or finished as holiday decor.

You will need small sharp micro-serrated scissors with a fine point, like the smallest Karen Kay Buckley scissors, Size 10 or 11 Straw Needles, also known as Milliner’s needles, and a sewing machine with any color thread. (machine used minimally only at the beginning) Fabric Kit and thread will be provided.


Background fabric and applique fabrics will be included in class registration needed for the workshop.

This is a beginner level project that includes machine stitching and some applique work.
