Barn Block Painting Workshop 2026 - Basics

Have you always wanted to hand paint a wood barn block? Come join us for a fun 8 hour workshop and leave with your own completed 24" X 24" wood barn block. You will be provided with all the materials you will need and guided through a step-by-step process to create your work of art.
You will be provided with with the following:
- 24" x 24" laser printed pattern on wood
- Paint
- Brushes
- Painters tape
- Utility knife
Things you will need to provide:
- Paint clothes and/or apron
- Blow Dryer
General Information:
You can reserve your seat in person, online, or by phone. Workshop registration fee is final and non-refundable, but the fee may be applied to a future workshop if cancellation is made within seven days of the class.

The Workshops are held at the Uptown Blanco Retreat house, limited space is available.
The March 24, 2026 Workshop has been moved to Uptown Ballroom, located upstairs across from Retreat House and behind restaurant. There is an elevator as well as stairs for access.

| Instructor Bio: | Cathy and Tony have 30 years experience in woodworking, embroidery, quilting, and longarming. Barn Blocks have become their latest passion! With a new laser cutter, they are able to provide phenomenal precision in the design on the wood blocks. |
