Mondo / Midi Bag Workshop
In this class you will be learning how to machine piece a Mondo bag. The Quiltsmart Mondo Bag By Mattie Rhoades pattern is required and included in the price of this workshop. If you prefer to substitute the Midi Bag for the Mondo Bag, we will happily comply.

Day one of the workshop is from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m, and the second day is from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. There will be time for lunch and breaks as needed.
The class will take place at our Uptown Retreat House, 514 3rd Street, Blanco, TX 78606. It has a full kitchen, so feel free to bring your own lunch or order from several nearby restaurants. There is limited space is available, so sign up early.

| Skill Details: | This class is an intermediate class. It is recommended that you have an understanding of the following: - Know how to use your sewing machine. - Know how to sew a 1/4 inch seam. - Know how to use an iron. - Vocabulary: subcut, WOF, right sides, and wrong side, etc. |

| Requirements: | - Sewing machine - 1/4 inch presser foot - Sewing machine thread - Sewing Machine Needles ( just in case) - Rotary cutter - Either a 12" or 24" ruler - Pins - Seam Ripper - Jelly roll or 20 (2.5") strips at least 40" wide or WOF. - 1.5 yards of fabric (for bag lining) - 1.5 yards of fusible fleece A complete list of supplies and information will be provided after registration. |
