Jelly Roll Race Quilt with Added Pizzazz

Do you want a fun and easy project to complete while enjoying the company of others as you "race" to the finished end?  If so, this class is for you! Bring your Jelly Roll or other 2.5" strip pack and sew a quilt top together quickly! 

This easy, fun quilt uses one Jelly Roll or one 2.5" strip pack and one yard of coordinating fabric.  If you can sew a straight line and make a 1/4 inch seam then this is the class for you.  You must provide and know how to operate a sewing machine and wind a bobbin.

General Information:

Workshop size is 8 people. You can reserve your seat in person, online, or by phone. Minimum workshop size is 4 people. If the workshop is canceled a full refund will be given. If you need to cancel, you may apply the enrollment fee towards a future workshop.

Workshop will be held at the Uptown Blanco Retreat House located on 3rd Street.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must know how to use a sewing machine and wind a bobbin.
Materials Included: Two ironing stations, two cutting stations
Requirements: Required to bring one Jelly Roll or strip pack, one yard of coordinating fabric, thread, and scissors, ruler and rotary cutter.
Instructor: Tory Padden
Instructor Bio: Tory Padden is a costume designer by training and an art quilt enthusiast by choice. With over 35 years experience sewing and designing, she has turned her attention to the joys of quilting. The Jelly Roll Race quilt is one of her favorite fast and easy go to quilt designs.
